During 23/24, we supported well over 1000 young people in schools and 100s of children in activity clubs in Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and North Yorkshire.
Nature Connection

A connection with nature is vital for us all. If we are to help protect and improve biodiversity in our wild places, we need to feel a connection with it. We believe this can be achieved through the development of traditional woodland skills and a better understanding of the flora an fauna around us.

Well Being and Mental Health

Simply taking a walk in nature can have a significant impact upon your mental health and well being. At Sylvan Lore, we believe that purposeful activities and the development of new skills and knowledge increases the benefit tenfold. It is our aim for our participants to feel comfortable and confident in the outdoors.

Challenge and Adventure

Whether we are working with young people or adults, memories are made from overcoming challenges, working as a team and stepping outside your comfort zone. At Sylvan Lore, we pride ourselves on getting the balance right between challenge and success.
